Purpose of the role:   Work as part pf the Siebel Administration team , work day to day activities, implementation and provide and 2nd line support. The team will be responsible for all component designs and delivery of all projects supporting Openreach MFU. 
The job holder will also be responsible for attracting insourcing opportunities on strategic applications to new horizons.
Key responsibilities:   • Has role and responsibility for managing and executing day to day Non-Functional delivery of the OR & WLR Siebel  project
• Will execute, repository migrations, Siebel Server Installation, Siebel Server Configuration. 
• Work with various teams across multiple systems during dev and cst and drive towards reaching a solution
• Work with sister teams covering architecture / strategy, systems / software development & platform management 
• Improve the quality and efficiency of the platform
• Maintain a great team ethos and atmosphere. Perform DB Extracts and assist Developers with Client/Tools issues.
Qualifications:   ESSENTIAL CRITERIA • Possess 2-4 years of Siebel Administration experience
• Strong expereince in Siebel Server Installation, Server Configuration, Oracle 9i, 10g, 11gr2 Database Installation and Setup on Solaris 10 OS. Good understanding of Siebel Upgrades.
• Must have excellent knowledge about Siebel Architecture and inperforming repository and SRF migrations.
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Great expereience in handling application and database related issues on the development environment.
• Good understanding of Shell/PERL scripting
• Good knowledge of using the Solaris 10 OS
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills 

Desirable skills & experience: 
• Experience with Load Balancing, Clustering 
• Experience in executing Disaster Recovery tests
